Not working... no packets being processed

I'm running version 2.4.8.4 and when I display an item that is not here nothing is happening. What is the best way to debug what is happening? I have debug flags currently set to 0x07.

check errFile.txt and which EQ server?

Also make sure its monitoring the right Network Interface.

I disabled the IP address filtering on everyone. We had an issue where it was processing discord packets voice chat packets and becoming disconnected. See if that helps.

i pushed out 2.4.8.5 where you can reenable packet filtering with the command "i".

I tried all the interfaces (device 8 works with Lucy Item Collector). In testing I set debugging to 0xFFFF, zoned between each interface change, checked the number of packets processed (using z) and it always showed 0. Did something change since the last time I was able to successfully update something? Hopefully you can check when the last update I made was.

Started up the capture process, then started EQ session. After I enter the world I checked the # of packets processed and it still says 0 packets.

Is there a way to dump the packets that the capture process sees? Can we add a debugging option to dump everything it sees (whether it is processed or not) to a file?

It might also be nice to have the "z" command display "packets seen" along with "packets processed".

It is seeing packets. I turned back on the ip filtering and only saw local packets and to 69.174.*.* I'm going to try processing all the links I have and see if anything updates on your end.

Did it detect the session ?

I'm not sure how to tell. After I process all the items, I'll start over and post the information.

if it tries to add items it processing then its fine, otherwise there is something up with the session code. I put the packet filter in as our discord had a tendency of messing things up
